this is the event for you!

Increasingly the public sector is seeking to tackle complex issues with multiple partnerships and public sector and voluntary sector managers want to feel more confident about their role in tackling the key issues around Local Area Agreements (LAA’s) – and other key challenges. This carefully designed and facilitator-led group event is a really innovative way for you to with your peers to explore these complex issues in a self-organising, exciting and energising arena, where you can come together with others to discuss key issues and generate proposals to resolve them.

• Network with other managers in the public sector; sharing ideas & experiences
• Invest time preparing yourself for the challenges ahead
• Enjoy interacting with others on real solutions, not sitting and listening to yet another speaker or presentation
• Leave at the end of the day with stacks of ideas and contacts to help you

The workshop will be run as an ‘Open Space’ event. The overall theme of the day will be the question “How can I, as a manager in the public sector, make the biggest difference?”. The exact agenda and topics for the day will be the specific issues that you and your colleagues wish to discuss and share ideas about. This may be any issue that is of particular importance to you. From broad questions relating to management styles and methods, through to detailed topics about specific indicators or issues, you are welcome to bring them all to the event.
